The AS-DT1 is a compact, high-performance LiDAR depth sensing solution developed for industrial imaging applications where minimizing size and weight is essential without compromising capability. Measuring just 29 mm × 29 mm × 31 mm and weighing only 50 grams, it is recognized as the world’s smallest and lightest device in its class. This exceptionally compact form factor makes it a strong fit for next-generation robotic vision systems, embedded inspection equipment, autonomous platforms, and drone-based applications where integration flexibility is critical.

Built on Sony’s Direct Time of Flight technology and a Single Photon Avalanche Diode, the AS-DT1 captures precise 3D depth data across length, width, and depth with the speed and consistency required for real-world industrial use. Its field of view of 30° or more and 576 ranging points support reliable spatial awareness, object detection, and distance measurement in dynamic environments. With real-time frame rates up to 30 fps, the AS-DT1 provides fast, responsive performance for automation, navigation, and inspection tasks that depend on accurate depth information.
